comments = Having recently acquired
one of your sand pictures, I am
pleased to inform you, they are even
more entrancing than I had
remembered. I find myself spending
more time watching it than the TV show
I am
watching. Sadly I find it more
entertaining than most programing.
Sadly,
because it reflects badly on my
industry!
Thanks for this wonderful piece of
nostalgia.

comments = We were very pleased
with Rick's personal attention to
preparing a sand picture to our
specifications for a mother who has
contracted Alzheimers Disease.  He
could very easily have left us to pick
something off the shelf, at the Pigeon
Forge Rotary Craft Sale.

THE MELROSE FESTIVAL LOCATED
ON THE
BEAUTIFUL CANE RIVER IN
NATCHITOCHES, LA. WHERE I
FINALLY WAS ABLE TO SEE
THE AMAZING SAND PICTURE IN
ACTION. I HAD HEARD ABOUT THEM
BUT YET TO
SEE ONE.THE SAND PICTURE'S WAS
EVERYTHING I HAD HEARD AND
MORE. IT IS A
BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART. THE
CONCEPT SOUNDS BASIC OR
SIMPLE, BUT THE
RESULTS OF A FINISHED PICTURE IS
ONE OF WONDER AND SUPRISE.THE
SAND PICTURE
TO ME IS VERY RELAXING. IT IS LIKE
HAVING A LIVING PICTURE, IT WILL
TAKE A NEW FORM ALONG WITH
DIFFERENT COLOR LEVELS EACH
TIME YOU TURN IT. I
HAVE ONE OF MY OWN NOW THAT I
REALLY ENJOY AND HAVE GOTTEN
MANY
COMPLIMENTS, FOLKS ARE PRETTY
INTRIGUED AND ALWAYS WANT TO
KNOW HOW TO
ACQUIRE ONE. THANKS ROSEY.

comments = We were in Pigeon
Forge,TN this week taking in all the
craft
shows in the area.  We were
fortunate to go into the Rotary Club
Craft
Show.  We were delighted to find
Rosey's Unique Products.

James' parents had passed away in
'96 & '98.  His sister had given
them a framed sand art piece many
years ago.  Since their death the art
piece had been in storage. Because
of their work etc., James and his
sisters had not been able to get
together to divide up their parents
things   They live in Louisiana and
we live in Tn.  Anyway James got the
art
piece.  Half of the fluid had
evaporated and the sands were dry
as
well.  We  kept the piece for
sentimental reasons more than
anything else.
We didn't dream it could be fixed as
we had never seen any besides
this piece.  Were we ever delighted
to learn that it could be fixed when
we came upon Rosey's Unique
Products Booth  We came home ( 2
hrs
away)  got the piece and drove back
2 days later to see if our piece could
be fixed.

It seems another gentleman had
produced our piece and had since
passed
away.  WE had looked all over the
frame and couldn't see how it could
be repaired without taking the entire
thing apart.  Thankfully as soon
as "The Pro" saw it he said "Yes I
can fix that right up.  In less than
30 minutes it was as good as new.
We can now enjoy the sand art piece
once again and can remember the
wonderful times we shared it with
James' parents.  Thank you so very
much.

Sincerely,
Rebekah & James Hunt
From the Press:
Plum packed - Thousands take in downtown fest's final day.
By Rex Barber

The Blue Plum Festival has pulled it off again — with aplomb.
Day two of this year's Blue Plum Festival saw tens of thousands of
music fans pack into downtown during the sweltering mid-day heat, all
seeking a day of relaxing or dancing tunes.
The effects of the beating sun began to subside by evening, with a cool
breeze blowing down Main and Market streets, creating a pleasant,
festive atmosphere as band after band belted out upbeat melodies and
lasting lyrics.
Music was certainly not the only thing to enjoy at the eighth annual
festival. There were plenty of merchants available with lots of toys,
pictures, goods and just about anything else imaginable.
Rick "Rosey" Rosenbalm had set up his Unique Products tent on Main
Street for his first trip to the Blue Plum.
He was selling wire wrapped items, wood products and moving sand art.
The sand art was the most unique thing.
Rosenbalm inserts dyed water and sand between two sheets of glass
sealed together with silicone.
The result is a different design each time the glass is turned.
"They never make the same picture twice," he said of his art. "It's
very calming, very relaxing. It's just like having an aquarium in your
home except you don't have to get up and feed it."
Rosenbalm sells his wares from $25-$50 and they come in a range of
sizes from eight feet by four feet to five inches by eight inches.
ROCK ON!!! Creativity deserves more
recognition in the media!  Ever think
the images of your work may inspire a
young person - or older person?!!!

I'm mailing out Vendor Passes today
and tomorrow - and finalizing vendor
assignments before this week is over…

I have you and your son's jewelry as
close to the front of the vendor area as
humanly possible (just behind our
sponsors)!

comments = I bought a sand art for my Dad from your Carolina Place Mall
location and my Husband seemed to enjoy it so much, I thought I'd like to get
him one for his Birthday on the 12th.  I was surprised you had left the mall so
quickly but totally understand.  Will you be anywhere else in the Charlotte
area soon?
